What MetroCam.com does for you
High vantage feeds of city skylines — weather rolling in, lights coming on, the slow change of seasons.
The public squares where a city actually happens: markets, performers, rush hour on foot.
Stations, harbors, and bridges — the choreography of a city moving, best watched at peak hour.
The same feeds used practically: check the actual sky and streets before you head out.
Yesterday compressed to a minute — fog burning off, tides turning, the whole day in one take.
Curated rotations — morning in one city, evening in another — for the ambient screen in your day.
MetroCam.com does not show adult content, host hidden, private or non-consensual cameras, identify or track individuals.

How it works
Browse the directory by city and scene type — skyline, square, station, harbor — and open a live window onto it.
Playlists rotate feeds by local time of day, so there is always a city at golden hour or waking up somewhere.
Time-lapse replays compress the last day of any feed into a minute — the city's rhythm made visible.
Questions people ask
Where do the feeds come from?
Only public sources: tourism boards, transport authorities, broadcasters, and owners who publish their cameras openly. Every feed is credited and linked to its source.
What about privacy?
Feeds are wide public scenes — skylines, squares, infrastructure — not residential views, and resolution at street level does not identify individuals. Feeds that break that rule are not listed.
Why watch a city camera at all?
Practically, to check weather and crowds before going out. Beyond that, people keep a feed open for the same reason they sit at a cafe window: cities are good company.
